The Eclipx Group has launched its latest parental leave policy offering a paid 16-week maternity leave for an initial career, regardless of gender with no minimum tenure, including birth, adoption and surrogacy. This egalitarian trait between the sexes and their flexible work environment is driven by their values ​​and dedication to support their workers. In addition, the new policy offers secondary caregivers four weeks of paid leave during the first 12 months of the baby’s life.

We met with Eclipx Group CEO Julian Russell to find out all the details.

Julian Russell is well versed in the constant juggling required to achieve a good work-life balance. A father of four children aged five and 11, Julian uses the same flexibility given to all members of the Eclipx team. He relies on excellent staff and open communication to successfully meet the needs of his demanding role while being present and spending quality time with his family.

Asked about the organizations’ decision to improve maternity leave policy, Julian said: “Having a very involved staff is critical to our service delivery and ultimately to the success of our business. Being a parent is very rewarding, but it can be very demanding. Providing our staff with support such as Prolonged parental leave and greater flexibility make a lot of sense in terms of our culture and involvement.This support is critical in the context of attracting, retaining and developing our talent and staff.
